The room and bedding was clean. The staff were very obliging.
Extremely disappointed at the level of the karoake music from the arcade next door which kept us awake until 3am. The security guard did call the venue to ask them to turn the volume down, with little effect. Also, I had noticed a really foul odour near the washbasin, and thought it was the drain. However, my husband tracked it down to the liquid soap handwash in the dispenser next to the basin, which actually smelt as bad as a dead rat.

Couple getaway, not too shabby
The location was solid , right next to where we needed to be for the theater. And I gotta say , that bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever crashed on , really great sleep.
Sure, it wasn't exactly cheap , but for what we got , I can't complain too much.

The convenience of the location.
In comparison with other city hotels I have stayed in I felt the tariff was overpriced in relation to the quality of the room. If I had to pin point one aspect which could lift the standard of the room it would be to refresh or upgrade the bedspreads which appeared a bit tired and also not as clean as they could have been.

i enjoyed the location of the Hotel, especially being so close to Chinatown and World Square
Quality of the customer service at reception, no flexibility in checking in slightly earlier and the bathroom having no exhaust fan to suck the hot air out and no conditioner!

Stayed at capitol hotel for 5 nights and loved the great location. It's close to china town and the city. Our king room was spacious, and the bathroom was really nice. The bed was super comfy. The friendly staff was ready to assist us whenever we had questions.

Broken basin is not a quality standard over $150 room rate. As the basin, I don't think it should be rent out at anyone. There is a few cotton around the bed sheet. Bed does not provided a firm support and pillow is very flat as I have a back pain problem.

I loved that it was right next door to the theatre which I was going to that night. It was very short walking distance to Paddy's Markets, China Town and the Entertainment Centre. Public transport was virtually at your door and for a small fee of $2, I could leave my luggage there all day after checking out, until it was time to catch the train.
Older TV with average reception and only a few free to air channels (also mtv but it was in Chinese). Didn't bother me too much as I wasn't there to watch TV but would be annoying for some.

I enjoyed my stay with a comfortable bed and friendly staff ready to assist. The location was fantastic. The room felt a bit dated, and the breakfast variety could be improved for longer stays.
